Benjamin's Milestones

We took this video showing some of Benjamin's most recent milestones. You can see clapping, walking and talking. He calls all animals "dog." He is walking more and more everyday, still can't keep up with Lily but it is only a matter of time! Enjoy.

Benjamin falls asleep while eating...

Benjamin had a bit of trouble with the time change this past week and was not taking as many naps. So twice he fell asleep while eating dinner. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen because as he was nodding off he was still trying to put food in his mouth.

Lacy Park

A week ago we went to Lacy Park, a large beautiful park in San Marino, which is southwest of where we live. The kids enjoyed playing at a new playground while Will and I enjoyed a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

I try to get the kids out of the house on Sunday mornings so Will can sleep in. Last week we had a beautiful morning so we went to the park for some play time. Benjamin is starting to enjoy playing at the park and climbs the play structure by himself. I was really impressed the first time he went down the slide he instinctively turned around to go feet first on his stomach.

Lily got a little bottle of bubbles the other day and I think it was the first time Benjamin saw bubbles. He got really excited but once I got the camera out to record it he lost his enthusiasm. He does make some really funny faces though. BTW...if you wonder why all the post recently are about Benjamin it is because Lily will not keep clothes on long enough for me to get video or pictures...

When Lily is not around, Benjamin enjoys pushing her tricycle up and down the hall way. He is getting really good on his feet and unfortunately for me will be walking soon. I know he can't wait to keep up with his big sister.

Benjamin eats like a cave baby

Here is Benjamin eating his breakfast (oatmeal with blueberries). He has never really let us feed him with utensils as he wants to feed himself. We thought this video was funny.
