Lily and Benji's Wishlist

Lily and Benjamin are very excited for the holidays! They have been working on their wishlists since October (well mostly Lily has, Benji doesn't really care) and I have decided to post since some relatives have been asking what they may want. I figure it is better that they get something they want so here are the lists:

Lily's Wish List:
1. Doctor Kit (we would prefer the wood one from FAO or HABA; but Lily would be happy with anything)
2. Baby with a bottle
3. Cupcake maker (not sure about that one!)
4. Makeup Kit
5. Stuff for Play Kitchen (Prefer wood/real items as opposed to the plastic play stuff)
6. Ladybug Girl by Jacky Davis and Ladybug Girl Dresses Up by Jacky Davis (We already have Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee boy)
7. Microscope
8. Veternarian Kit
9. Playdoh sets
10. Furreal Friends

Benji's Wish List:
1. Any of the animal planet sets from Toys R Us
2. Wow Wee Alive Cub (Mini)
3. Anything Diego
(He actually asked for a teddy bear and a pink princess backpack, but I am making an executive decision that he doesn't need those things.)

Philadelphia Zoo

Will took the kids to the Philadelphia zoo on Labor day. They seemed to have a great time (at least they came back with filthy clothes so I assume they had a great time).

Stoney Creek Park

We like to spend time at this park because they have a big sand pit and it is almost like playing at the beach. This past time Lily and Benji made it even more like a beach after they discovered there is a water spigot nearby. They spent all morning moving the sand to the water area. Other parents did look at me like I was crazy for letting them do it, but they were having so much fun, I decided it was ok! It was unfortunate that just before going to the park I had vacuumed the car :(

We found some inline skates in Lily's size at the thrift store, since she has been wanting to learn to skate I let her get them. I think it took about 1 minute for her to decide skating is "very hard." Then Benji wanted a try, he did ok but only while holding on to someone. (Yes he is in his underwear...no he is NOT potty trained yet).

Treehouse Cafe

This is a great indoor playplace that all wood toys (sponsored by the local Waldorf school). We can easily spend the entire day there(luckily they have free internet).

Swimming Pool

We found this cute swimming pool on clearance at Target. The kids love it with the slides and water spray.

Cousins

Lily and Benjamin really enjoyed seeing their cousins Alison and Cameron. We had a great time hanging out down at the beach.
